It was 'Cicada Night' at the ballpark, so instead of a 'Fan Cam' displaying sleeping fans or overexcited children on the jumbotron, they cleverly renamed it a 'Cicada Cam.' The manufactured buzzing noise and attempted wall eye lens effect made all the difference.

Arnie: Are they trying to show people in the stands who look like cicadas?

Me: I think the camera is supposed to be from the perspective of the cicada.

Arnie: What faces would you make if you were on the Cicada Cam?

The seats were free so it didn't take much convincing to get Arnie and Tim to come, but I did experience some sharp shooting chest pains during the second inning.
